The report is built on the basis of the Law on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the practical requirements of Project 1002 on Community-based Disaster Management in the context of climate change impacts. The increasing natural disaster in Vietnam requires communities to promptly improve disaster risk reduction and adaptation measures in a longer and more sustainable manner.

The report belongs to Project GCF-UNDP “Improving the resilience of coastal communities to climate change in Viet Nam”.
